 Since 1972, the Lori Knapp Companies have been providing residential services for people with disabilities and the elderly. We were the first in the Midwest to allow people with developmental disabilities to leave the institution and to live in their home communities. Since the early 1907's, we have been leaders in the field of residential housing. Our current emphasis is on adults with developmental disabilities in four-bed fully accessible Adult Family Homes, as well as children with developmental disabilities in four-bed state of the art Children’s Treatment Foster Homes. In addition, Lori Knapp Companies have homes from two to eight beds developed for Consumers with special or unusual needs. We take pride in seeing that Consumers are allowed to have the same opportunities that other citizens have. We give Consumers a choice of available community activities with a low Consumer-to-staff ratio. |

 We take Memory Care services seriously. At Gracious Way, we provide a comfortable home for the elderly with Alzheimer’s and other dementia who do not need the skilled care
provided in nursing homes.
Gracious Way Assisted Living offers a unique mix of security and independence, privacy and companionship, care a
support with staff specially trained in issues of infirmities related to aging. |

 Child Treatment Foster Care is unique program for kids who have high-needs, and are medically-fragile, and are unable to live at home.
We provide a family atmosphere with involvement from their families. We encourage community involvement, school activities, recreational activities, to name a few.

SDS offers a wide range of choices to Family Care members so that they can maximize choice and control over their services and supports. All Family Care Organizations offer SDS, and Family Care members can choose the amount of help they will need so that they can fully participate in SDS. |

provide Personal Care services, BUT are only capable of providing Supportive Home Cares (SHCs).
Medical Assistance Personal Care (MAPC) Oversight through the Lori Knapp Companies will allow your
company to bill for Personal Care Services through the government without the need to become certified through the Wisconsin DQA. |
